Install HandSwipe
Windows 10 or 11 · a webcam · Python 3.9 to 3.12
Free · version 0.1.0 · 6 KB
- 01Install Python 3.12 (64-bit) from python.org. Versions 3.9 to 3.12 work; 3.13 and newer don't yet.
- 02Unzip the download and double-click run-windows.bat. The first run installs MediaPipe and OpenCV (about 800 MB) inside that folder only.
- 03Hold a hand up to the camera. HandSwipe sends real scrolls and window switches, so press Q in its camera window when you're done.

Why it matters
Hand landmarks from MediaPipe become desktop actions: scrolling, window switching and two-hand zoom, with the tracked skeleton and the recognised gesture drawn over the camera feed.
